Memorial Trust Fund

 The Memorial Trust Fund was founded as a non-profit, tax-free organization by Branford Hills Health Care Center in 1983. It was formed under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code wherein all contributions are deductible as “Charitable Contributions” on the donor’s federal income tax return.

The purpose of the Memorial Trust Fund is to allow individuals to make tax – deductible contributions of cash or other valuables for the benefit of our residents at Branford Hills Health Care Center

A Board of Trustees invests all contributions. The funds donated to the Memorial Trust fund have been utilized for the construction of a Memorial Garden, for picnics, concerts, visits to historical, religious and cultural centers and many other activities.

The donations are also used to purchase personal items for those residents who can no longer afford to purchase items such as a television, radio or stereo, which would greatly enhance a resident’s quality of life.

The Board of Trustees will provide written documentation for the value of all donations.
